this was an excellent set. they played *all* the harmonica songs, among other great things. Stuck in the 90s, despite being dated at least by its title, was still very relevant. :)
King of Spain included a few bars of Kick in the Ass, and Jian had to start in on a new set of wire brushes for Minnie the Moocher, and they sounded great! :) No mention was made, though, of the drunk morons the previous night who tried to *sing* King of Spain during the show.
some surprises, not necessarily of things they played, but things they *didn't* play - no Half as Much, no Get in the Car, no Splatter.
it was good to hear BJ and Darlington again, but I can't remember what the last line in BJ was last night... or even what the rhyme was...
during the Beatles segment in GE&H Jian went into a bit of his "collective" bit and looked almost tempted to try the green eggs and ham himself, but finally decided he didn't eat that stuff.
Gord's Gold was done for a shouted out request (supposedly).
I'd write more (I already know I forgot to include stuff in the other reviews,
like the "3 boss types" from Thursday, or that I Will Hold On seemed to have
some backing vocals in it on Friday... things like that :) but I'm operating
on about 12 hours of sleep in the last 3 days, most of which was had on
Thursday night... so I'm going to go to sleep, and other people can fill in
the details of whatever I left out. :)
