Sunday morning workshop ("A Complete History of Music:Baroque Through the Eisenhower Era") - keep in mind they were also answering questions off and on during this set :)
(Jian's setlist) BJ Spidey (with Mike taking off before the song even started and beginning the song from the middle of the crowd near the back.. getting a woman in the crowd to juggle, and doing the "eight legs good, two legs bad... justice for arachnids!" bit that I don't think I'd ever heard live before *g*) Rush (GMIA) Kidz Fly (skipped due to time constraints) Booty Tender Guinea (one of the only two songs repeated the entire weekend!) Tureen Sauce (the second of the only two songs repeated all weekend) Lazy Dance (Dancing Queen)
When told they had time for "one more song", they huddled in the middle of the stage and consulted. I was hoping for Message (which I'd requested the night before), but they went one better... a song "we don't normally do on-mic"...
GULF WAR SONG!! - What an *incredible* way to end my trip to CA *happy sigh* There were a few laughs at the first "don't tell me I can't fight" but for the most part there was silence.. just *gorgeous*
I will eventually post a full-fledged review, but hopefully this gives
you guys a taste of what this weekend was like :)
