Woohoo! The Fruv finally made it to Kingston - it's been quite a while since they've been here (the last show, which was about 2 years ago, I believe, got cancelled sadly). So, I was excited that they were actually playing in the town where I live!
The All-folks festival was a great location - a great view of the lake (and unfortunately, the Dupont plant behind), and the sunset had the courtesy not to interfere with the show! :)
The energy level was high on Sunday night - and the Fruvous were definately rocking. I can't remember the setlist, but a couple of the highlights for me were Green Eggs & Ham (unfortunately the short version, but I haven't heard it live in a long time, so it was still great), the Love Potion #9 medley, and their encore of Brown Eyed Girl (which had the whole place dancing!).
Anyways, I know this is a short review, but I don't have any great stories
to tell. I just noticed that no one else had posted a review yet, so I
just wanted to let everyone know what a great concert it was - and how
great it was to have the boys back in Canada! :)
