Local music fans have long been supportive of Moxy Fruvous. The Canadian band started playing local gigs in the early '90s, and now Moxy Fruvous is ready to capture the rest of the states with its current album, "You Will Go to the Moon." The CD harks back to a mid-'60s pop/rock sound that includes a spaced-out cover of the Bee Gees' "I've Gotta Get a Message to You." Moxy Fruvous performs tonight at 9 in all-ages show in the Tralf, 100 Theater Place, and again on Saturday at 9 p.m. in an over-21 concert. Also performing this week at the Tralf: the Sam Rivers Trio, Monday at 8 p.m.; Robert Hunter, Tuesday at 9 p.m., and Robben Ford, Wednesday at 8 p.m.
