Fans of harmonizing humorists Moxy Fruvous need only close their eyes and imagine the onstage antics of the Toronto quartet, who perform original hits ("King Of Spain," "My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authors") and popular "moxy-fied" cover tunes (Tom Waits' "Jockey Full Of Bourbon" and Bee Gees' "I've Gotta Get A Message To You") on Live Noise. Recorded in the U.S. in front of drunken college crowds and in sundry clubs - and including snippets of onstage banter and an inspired quiz-show improv entitled "The Lowest Highest Point" -- the 23-track album is, uh, a trip to bargainville.
